Casino executives have testified to the Pennsylvania House Gaming Oversight Commitee into the possibility of Pennsylvania approving online gambling across the board. Mr Blackhurst, vice president of Caesars Entertainment Group, states that illegal gambling is taking place throughout the USA and is open to fraud and other criminal activities, with no revenue gain via taxes to the State.
Legalizing all forms of gambling will not only protect the consumer but will add dollars to the state coffers for use in other departments.
Nevada, Delaware and more recently New Jersey are the only states which allow online gambling and the results clearly show this is working within the constraints of regulations.
A bill has been introduced in February for the Oversight committee to investigate this further with the possibility for approval for Pennsylvania to become the fourth state to go down this road.
