As Online Gaming grows in leaps and bounds, the one thing that stands out is that all Online Casino, Poker Rooms and Sportsbetting sites have one thing in common and that is to deliver the biggest and the best for all players not only in game offers, but also technologically.
Recently, the Finnish online gaming operator iGame signed a letter of intent to merge with fellow Malta licensee Plus One Dreams. This move was taken in a bid so as to better compete against larger Scandinavian companies such as Unibet and Betsson who already have a large slice of the gaming market.
Merging in any form takes time, and the entire operation is due to be completed by May 15th. This entire merge will include the full complement of some 100 employees who are based in both Malta and Estonia, and it is believed that the company will also continue to operate under the Maltese iGaming licence.
According to iGame chief executive Robin Larsson, iGame will be looking to invest into the venture to improve all services and ultimately offer players a once in a lifetime "unique gaming experience", and this naturally will also open doors to further expand on the team, thus becoming one of the most important gaming companies in Europe.
The know-how in both companies complements each other’s perfectly, and Plus One Dreams CEO Rikard Ljungman said that the pairing/merge was “a dream merger for both parties. The two companies have known each other for many years and have a long lasting mutual respect and trust for each other. In addition, we complement each other extremely well in sector knowledge, market position and company values, Ljungman continued.
